This Privacy Policy explains how AstroByte (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Suspectdoku (package name com.astrobyte.suspectdoku), this website, and related support services.
1. Information handled by Suspectdoku
Information stored locally
The game stores puzzle progress, current board state, energy, tutorial status, audio preferences, vibration preferences, and similar settings locally on your device. We do not receive this local game data through our own servers. You can clear it from in-game settings where available, by clearing the app’s storage, or by uninstalling the app.
Information you provide
If you email us for support or a privacy request, we receive your email address and any information you include, such as device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue. We use this only to answer your request, keep necessary support records, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Platform information
Google Play and the Android system may process technical information needed to install, update, and run the app, in accordance with Google’s own terms and privacy policy. AstroByte does not operate a separate analytics or advertising account for this Google Play edition.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We process information as necessary to operate and support the game, respond to requests you send us, protect against fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as keeping the app and support channel secure. Where consent is legally required, processing relies on your consent.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share local game data with third parties because we do not receive it. We may disclose support-email information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. Retention and security
Local game data remains on your device until you reset it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we receive. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
5. Children’s privacy
Suspectdoku is a general-audience cartoon mystery puzzle and is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not provide account registration, public chat, or user-generated content. The store listing’s age rating is a content rating, not an invitation for children to send us personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
6. International processing
If you email us, that message may be processed where our support mailbox is hosted. Google may process Play-related information in countries other than where you live, as described in Google’s documentation.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Because we do not operate user accounts and local progress does not leave your device through our own servers, we may not possess data that can be linked to you. 8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
